High-Pressure Water Cleaning Heat Exchanger

The release date:2022-08-10 viewed:1165

Heat exchanger is one of the common thermal equipment widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric power, marine, machinery and other industries. In the process of heat exchanger work, there would be corrosion, dirt, microbial mud scale, etc. deposit on the contact surface where the medium passes through. If they are not removed in a timely manner, it will increase the resistance of the entire heat exchanger system, reduce the overall efficiency, and in serious cases, there will be leaks, explosions and other safety incidents. Therefore, regular cleaning of the heat exchanger is necessary. Cleaning methods are mainly divided into manual descaling method, chemical descaling method, mechanical descaling method.

Manual descaling: Workers use tools such as flat shovel, wire brush and pipe mill to strip the scale, which is labor-intensive, time-consuming and easy to damage the surface of heat exchanger.

Chemical descaling: Add chemicals to dissolve and strip the scale. If there is improper operation in the process, it is easy to cause reverse corrosion and environmental pollution.

Mechanical descaling: use physical methods to flush the dirt to crush or grind the scale, such as high-pressure water cleaning, sandblasting cleaning, etc.

At present, high-pressure water descaling is one of the most efficient cleaning methods. High-pressure water crushes the scale layer, peels off the scale, which has remarkable effect on the stubborn and difficult to remove carbon scale or hard scale. HOWEVERJET independently has developed and produced high-pressure cleaner that can efficiently remove the dirt from the inner wall of condenser and heat transfer tube of heat exchanger, and realize the unblocking, descaling and rust removal of heat exchanger from inside to outside.

Compared with traditional cleaning methods, high-pressure water cleaning has smaller loss, lower cost, zero pollution, higher efficiency, gaining more and more favorable enterprises.
